Fotografía presentada por Francisco Luis al Concurso LIFE GREEN TIC
LIFE GreenTIC Project is asking for the participation of ICT users, students and professionals to evaluate the good practices and recommendations to save energy that are compiled in the document “Good Practices for ICT users Guidelines” and to propose new ones.

This Guide compiles different recommendations so that information and communication technologies (ICT) users can make a smarter and more responsible use of devices and equipment. With the implementation of these recommendations, energy can be saved, life cycle can be extended and carbon footprint can be reduced accordingly.

This document can be downloaded from the Documents – Smart use of ICT section of this website (Spanish version): http://www.lifegreentic.eu/es/documento/guia-de-buenas-practicas-para-usuarios-tic-consulta-publica

The document will be subjected to public consultation to obtain the ICT users’ opinions on the recommended good practices. They can use the right column (grey shaded) of the document to denote their observations on the good practices. They can also add new good practices in the shaded rows at the end of each table for every of the following chapters:
•  Good practices related to computers and displays
• Good practices related to smartphones, tablets and so on.
• Good practices for the management of information and e-mail
• Good practices for image printing equipment.

Suggestions can be sent via e-mail to lifegreentic@patrimonionatural.org

The deadline for reception of suggestions is 15th May.
