LIFE Green TIC is searching for “good practices” to reduce the ICT carbon footprint and to reduce carbon footprint of others using ICT

In this compilation process all individuals and public or private organisations can participate if they are aware of good practices that they want to share.

LIFE Green TIC European project is compiling good practices that mean an environmentally sustainable use of ICT, reducing or mitigating the carbon footprint of their use and the one of any human activity. Good practices are projects or experiences, already finished or on-going, developed by institutions, companies or professionals to reduce the ICT carbon footprint or using ICT to reduce others carbon footprint, contributing to improve environmental management and information.

Apart from companies, local entities, public bodies, universities and educational centres participation, the catalogue will also admit good practices from individuals, IT specialists and IT professional developers. The publication of every experience in the Catalogue will be for free.

We would like to enhance the participation of every reader, send us your proposals as soon as possible. The Online Sustainability Lab of the LIFE Green TIC project will be the communication channel for the free publication of projects. All proposals will make part of a select group that will be made public before the EU. The digital platforms of LIFE Green TIC for this initiative are the blog Mi Huella TIC and the Facebook and Twitter profiles.

Do you have a project that might fit in our European initiative? Contact us through this form and contribute with a good practice.

You can also send detail information on your good practice, including photos, web links, etc. to the following e-mail address: lifegreentic@patrimonionatural.org
